Notice is hereby given that the City of Jonestown Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council will hold public hearings to receive citizen input and consider action on the following:
An amendment to the City’s Comprehensive Plan to adopt a new Vision Statement and a new Future Land Use Map.
An ordinance of the City of Jonestown, Texas, amending Chapter 15, Sign Ordinance, Sec. 15.02.152, Sign Categories and Example Illustrations, and Sec. 15.02.156 Temporary Signs, of the City of Jonestown Code of Ordinances, to approve revisions to the requirements for banner/sail signs regarding size (height/width), quantity of banners/sail signs to be allowed, and the duration for the sign to be placed on the property.
The public hearing before the Planning and Zoning Commission will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. The public hearing before the City Council will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. Both public hearings will be held at the City of Jonestown City Council Chamber, 18649 FM 1431, Suite 3A, Jonestown, Texas.
